ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting directly to our Head of PU, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in progress while driving continuous improvement. This role involves managing staff coordinating projects and collaborating with various departments to enhance productivity and achieve organizational goals.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
A “Safety First Culture” and Sustainable Business
- Establish and maintain a strong health and safety culture and a safe workplace.
- Monitor and review implementation of EHS standards/legislation to ensure compliance and proactive and effective risk detection and management.
- Maintain/improve external certification results within EHS and Quality management.
Operational Requirements
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize performance and meet business objectives.
- Analyse operational data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop a lean culture promoting continuous improvement.
Business Strategy Execution
- Translate divisional strategy into clear execution plans for the site; cascading/communicating and delivering on these plans. Provide strategy and direction on improved product cost, productivity and quality standards.
- Developing the site and its key processes to deliver quality products on time, in a cost and resource efficient way: You bring people, processes and technology together and drive developments in process efficiency, digitalization and sustainability.
- Proactively predict variables that may affect performance. Design and implement appropriate flexibility strategies in relation to cost structure, capacity, manning and raw materials to enable us to stay agile and protect our margin / profit from upturns depending on market cycle.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant specialization in engineering, business or other relevant
- Minimum 3 years in similar roles
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of management teams effectively
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Profivient in project management and process improvement methodologies (e.g.: Lean, Six Sigma)
- Fluent in English and German is a requirement
