Clinical & Technical Specialist – Cochlear Implants (Romania & Moldova)
Location: Romania, with 70% travel within the country and occasional international travel.
Contract Type: Full-time

We are seeking a Clinical & Technical Specialist to join our team in Romania and Moldova. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting clinical professionals, distributors, and patients by providing expertise and technical support for Cochlear’s full range of advanced hearing solutions.

Your Profile:

Background & Education: You have a degree in Audiology, Acoustics, Speech Pathology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (ENT, Biology, Physics).
Experience: At least 3 years of clinical or technical experience, ideally within the medical device industry. Experience with hearing implants and audiological systems is a plus.
Technical Affinity: You have a passion for cutting-edge technology and are eager to learn Cochlear’s products and systems.
Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and communicate complex information to both experts and patients. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are proficient in MS Office. Experience with project planning is an advantage.
Languages: You are fluent in Romanian and English. Additional languages such as Russian would be a bonus.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Clinical & Technical Support:
• Provide hands-on clinical and technical support for Cochlear’s products to healthcare professionals, clinics, and distributors.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, assist with surgeries, and support in programming Cochlear devices for patients.
• Offer in-person and online support through switch-ons, fittings, and intraoperative measurements.
2. Training & Development:
• Deliver training on Cochlear’s products to clinical professionals and distributors, ensuring they are up to date with the latest developments.
• Create and adapt training presentations for workshops, congresses, and symposia, ensuring a clear, impactful message.
3. Market Support:
• Collaborate with distributors and clinics to identify suitable candidates for Cochlear implants, supporting the full patient journey from surgery to aftercare.
• Actively participate in events, conferences, and workshops to strengthen relationships and increase Cochlear’s market share.
4. Personal Growth:
• Participate in Cochlear’s learning programs, including clinical-technical and surgical training, and engage with global teams for continued professional development.
