Job Description:
As a division of DXC Business Process Services (BPS), we specialize in delivering HR and Payroll Services to our client in the banking industry, operating from our Shared Service Centre.
Our service model follows a "Hub and Spoke" structure, with the "Hub" located in Wroclaw, Poland, and the "Spoke" situated in Vienna, Austria.
In Vienna, our "Spoke" consists of country payroll subject matter experts who work directly with our client on-site in Austria.
We are seeking a skilled HR and Payroll Specialist to join our team in Vienna, Austria. This role involves managing payroll-related projects and ensuring compliance with Austrian tax regulations.
Responsibilities:
Interface with client’s experts and external third parties
Process complex payroll procedures and perform audits
Verify Social contributions and liaise with authorities
Stay updated on legal changes and update procedures
Support year-end activities and recommend process enhancements
Requirements:
Fluent written and spoken German and English
2-3 years of payroll operations experience
In-depth knowledge of payroll calculation, tax, and labor laws
Knowledge of: country specific declaration (tax, contribution, healthcare, pensions, life insurance)
Ability to liaise with clients, country authorities and other members of the team outside of the country
Ability to train and coach team members
Willingness to work in a hybrid model (60% remote, 40% office-based) with a requirement to be in the office at least 3 days per week

For this position, the minimum gross salary is 39.956€ annually. In any case, we offer overpayment in line with the market, depending on qualifications and experience.
