Banking supervision therefore has the task of monitoring the business activities of credit institutions and maintaining investor confidence. The employees of the examiner units contribute to this by carrying out on-site examinations at the institutions. Their business trips take them to destinations in Germany and abroad. The auditors assess the functionality and appropriateness of the institutions' IT risk management and IT processes on the basis of supervisory regulations. Work of particular value: your assignment with us As an auditor, you will take part in banking audits at banks in Germany and abroad. You will review and assess risk management systems, in particular internal bank risk measurement and management procedures, focusing primarily on the technical and organizational equipment of the audited institutions with regard to the IT systems and IT processes used. You will pay particular attention to topics such as IT governance and compliance, information security management and IT infrastructure. In addition, you will deal with fundamental banking supervisory issues relating to IT and ensure the uniformity and quality of the Bundesbank's audits.
