Full Stack Software Engineer with Backend Focus (f/m/d)

Develop scalable backend systems for enterprise commerce projects, utilizing TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases. Contribute to open-source projects, drive performance, and tackle complex challenges in a collaborative environment.

• You will be working as part of a team that designs and implements sophisticated solutions with a focus on enterprise-scale commerce projects.
• You’ll be working with TypeScript & Node.js in dynamic full-stack projects, and not confined to just one part of the stack.
• You’ll help us create well-designed, performant, well-tested and documented components.
• You should have an eye for detail and a passion for building well-crafted software.
• As part of our team you’ll also have a direct impact on the open source projects we maintain: the open source commerce platform Vendure and the popular TypeORM library.
• You should have a desire & ability to learn new things and improve your professional skills.

• 3+ years of experience with web technologies including a strong understanding of web application architecture, APIs & databases & git.
• Proficiency in Node.js & TypeScript
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly & concisely communicate technical topics both written and verbally.
• Ability to design and build modular, maintainable software components.
• Ability to work together as part of a larger team and contribute to the team’s success.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle & overcome unexpected challenges
• Good understanding of relational databases such as Postgresql, including database performance and schema design.
• Ability to design and implement backend systems & integrations that are scalable & performant.
• Bonus skills: Docker, DevOps (CI/CD config, server config), GraphQL

Thanks to legal requirements, we’re required to share that the minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €4,485.00 (KV UBIT base). But here’s the good news: we actually pay more, based on your experience and qualifications!
