Data Engineer (w/m/x)

Your future role

• You analyze and prepare data from various upstream systems and ensure meaningful and reliable data sources
• You model and develop scalable ELT/ETL data flows, both batch and streaming processes
• As an important interface between data analysts and data scientists, you understand the requirements and translate them into technically efficient data solutions
• You enrich the data and integrate it into the Big Data environment based on Apache Hadoop (Cloudera)

Desired qualifications

• You have completed a technical education and have practical experience in data modeling
• You have already worked with relational databases and big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop
• You have in-depth knowledge of core technologies such as SQL (MS SQL Server), Apache Hadoop (especially Kafka, NiFi, Flink), programming in Scala, Java and/or Python as well as Linux
• You are interested in high-frequency data processing in near-real-time
• Very good English skills round off your skill set
