IN A NUTSHELL

In this role, you’ll lead all aspects of media strategy for motorsports at Red Bull. You’ll develop and drive content creation, programming, and communications tailored to the motorsports field. By engaging new and existing audiences, you’ll aim to grow brand awareness and deepen brand attribution, ensuring consumers connect with differentiated, authentic content more often and for longer. Leveraging our sports marketing assets—Playgrounds, Athletes, and Events—you’ll create ownable, standout media experiences.

Additionally, you’ll bring media and content expertise to elevate the global marketing mix in close partnership with Sports Marketing, infusing our stories with energy and impact to inspire our consumers.

Your leadership will extend beyond operational oversight as you harness both creative and technical expertise to innovate and elevate motorsports content.

Innovation and Engagement

In this role, you’ll create differentiated and authentic content to drive funnel growth through targeted earned outcomes, smart programming, and community-first managed and owned channels. You’ll translate sports marketing initiatives into relevant media products, always identifying content and story opportunities in close collaboration with Sports Marketing. You’ll drive greater ambition through unique content, credible brand attribution, and funnel growth across earned, managed, and owned channels.

Additionally, you’ll identify and develop new story angles, fostering innovation for both new ideas and recurring content opportunities. You’ll create ownable content formats across motorsports that engage new consumers, especially entry-point audiences. Leveraging third-party consumer touchpoints, you’ll utilize key media partners, series rights holders, event promoters, external validators, and creators to expand motorsports activation to new consumers.

Motorsports Network Strategy and Team Leadership

In this role, you’ll define and lead the Motorsports Network strategy, aligning it closely with our vision and goals. You’ll oversee a talented team, including a Communications Manager, Producers, Programming-, and Social Media Managers, guiding their efforts to achieve excellence across all tasks. By fostering a growth-oriented environment, you’ll empower each team member to reach their full potential and elevate their expertise. Your leadership will be essential in driving both strategic direction and team excellence.

Global Collaboration and Project Leadership

You’ll manage the motorsports network budget to ensure the delivery of agreed core objectives. You’ll develop key milestones for all projects, identifying and creating new story angles for existing projects and recurring content opportunities. By crafting ownable content formats and IP, you’ll drive reach and engagement, sparking conversations and excitement about Red Bull.

Additionally, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for countries, aligning and collaborating on a constant basis to elevate projects and facilitate knowledge transfer. You’ll also work closely with Sports Marketing to deliver country-specific projects and events that have national relevance and global potential.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

  • Strong track record of leading and managing cross-functional teams in the media field, with a focus on team growth and development, with the ability to mentor and empower team members to reach their full potential.
  • Extensive experience in media strategy development, content creation, and programming within the sports industry.
  • Passion for motorsports and understanding of its global landscape, trends, and consumer base to create relevant and impactful content.
  • Experience working with global teams and serving as a key point of contact for countries, aligning on media strategy, and facilitating knowledge transfer.
  • Demonstrated ability to create differentiated and authentic content, develop new story angles, and identify recurring content opportunities that drive engagement.
  • Ability to develop media and content strategies that engage and grow new consumer audiences, with a focus on entry-level and broader market reach.
  • Team-player mentality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, skilled in engaging with stakeholders, networking, and presenting to senior leaders.

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €2.229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
