Climate Product Specialist (f/m/d)
How You'll Make Your Mark Your main tasks in this role are:
- You support the ALDI SOUTH Group on its carbon reduction pathway towards net-zero with approved science-based targets
- You develop and implement an international supplier engagement strategy in the field of climate change
- You take on responsibility as the climate strategy coordinator, developing measures and global carbon reduction initiatives with a focus on product emissions
- You serve as a focal point, collaborating with national and international business entities on the development and implementation of the international climate strategy
- You identify synergies with nature and biodiversity teams to create holistic solutions
- You collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- You create concept papers, analyses, reports, and presentations
Your Profile The requirements of the role include:
- You hold a degree ideally related to Corporate Responsibility, Environmental Management, Carbon Accounting and Management, Agriculture, Supplier Engagement, or Product Supply Chains
- You bring initial work experience in agriculture, climate change, carbon accounting (GHG Protocol), or environmental management, with a focus on Scope 3 value chain emissions
- You have experience in the field of climate change, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, LCA, PCF, and basic expertise in supplier and buyer engagement
- You are proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications
- You enjoy international cooperation and transforming mindsets to embed climate action into business
- You are fluent in English
- You demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as teamwork

Remuneration Gross annual salary starting from € 52.700,-*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
