What it's all about: leading and transforming our Marketing Brand Zumtobel
As visionary, dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Marketing you set up our Zumtobel brand strategy with a strong emphasis on strengthening the positioning of Zumtobel as a premium brand in the market. You lead a team of international marketing-experts and you are steering functional local market tiers to transform and implement the global Zumtobel brand strategy. You will be employed at our Group HQ in Dornbirn/Austria.
- Developing a premium brand strategy: To reinforce the positioning of our premium brand and appeal to the next generation of potential customers, you are creating and implementing a global, cohesive, tailored and long-term brand strategy (incl. brand communication, targeted marketing campaign management, digital marketing techniques,..) that provide a consistent and captivating brand experience across various channels.
- Executing & influencing: You act as a brand ambassador and with your strong communication skills you can influence key stakeholders and large audiences to embark them on the brand journey. You are strong in explaining the customer journey and benefits along the different interactions and a have a convincing and compelling way to explain complex solutions in easy words.
- Conducting market research & pioneering trends: You are analyzing global market trends, target group behavior as well as the competitive premium brand landscape to create and implement a differentiating brand positioning. You nurture and drive a culture of innovative initiatives within the marketing team to increase the Net Promoter Score (NPS) by enhancing customer experiences.
- Driving & capturing performance: You are evaluating the effectiveness of your marketing initiatives. Moreover you are creating and establishing KPI's (heatmap, traffic, PIN,..) and using this data to adapt or start additional marketing campaigns.
- Inspiring collaboration & managing stakeholder: You are inspiring interdisciplinary and provide a level-one interfaces with all relevant stakeholders (Application- and Product-Management), especially with sales and marketing within the countries that they passionately get behind your premium brand strategy to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints along the value chain.
- Empowering leadership style: By establishing the team's structure, fostering individual potential, assigning resources, and addressing training requirements, you will inspire the team to reach new heights and spark a new wave of attractiveness to our premium brand. As a strong, committed leader you are fostering a collaborative, encouraging, trustful culture while providing clear guidance and support to encourage innovation and creativity.
- Proven track record & experience in brand repositioning: You have excelled in comparable Marketing Brand managerial roles (+5 years' experience), where you have already successfully worked in a premium segment and developed, implemented, and overseen a repositioning of a premium brand.
- Completed bachelor's degree: You have completed a bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, business administration or a related field.
- Data-driven mindset & ability to adjust fast: Aligned to your data-driven approach to work and decision-making, including the capacity to evaluate metrics and KPI's you modify plans as necessary in a fast-paced global environment.
- Digital & operative marketing expertise & strategic thinking: With an emphasis on digital marketing channels, you contribute a wealth of expertise in cutting-edge marketing techniques and tools (Social Media and Content & Performance marketing). All of the aforementioned points are supported by your ability to develop a premium brand strategy, concentrate on it, and have a keen operational grasp to coordinate regional and international marketing initiatives.

Your ability to influence and inspire others, combined with your hands on mentality, help you in leading and empowering your team. Additionally, your valuable intercultural experience adds a unique dimension to your leadership capabilities.
- Empowering communication & fluency English: You have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to inform, influence and challenge confidently across all levels, bringing together interdisciplinary, decentralized and remote teams into an outstanding success. You are fluent in English; German languages skills are beneficial and any other languages are a bonus and greatly appreciated.
- Business trips welcome: You are excited to visit and foster team cohesion across all locations of the Zumtobel Lighting Marketing team, with approximately 30% travel commitment.
