HR specialist - English and German Speaker

Your responsibilities will include facilitating the recruitment process, onboarding new employees, and developing programs that promote employee engagement and retention in both language contexts. You will also play a key role in resolving employee relations issues, implementing training initiatives, and ensuring compliance with labor laws in both German and English-speaking environments. • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings and conducting interviews, ensuring effective communication in both English and German.
• Conduct employee orientation and onboarding in both languages, preparing new hires for success at Autojob.
• Develop and facilitate training and development programs that cater to English and German-speaking employees.
• Oversee employee benefits administration and address related inquiries in both languages.
• Handle employee relations matters, mediating conflicts and ensuring employee satisfaction through effective communication.
• Support performance management processes and provide guidance to managers in both linguistic contexts.
• Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures that accommodate our multilingual workforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Specialist or in a similar role, preferably within a multicultural environment.
• Fluency in both English and German (spoken and written) is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Strong understanding of HR functions, labor laws, and best practices in both language contexts.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and relate to employees across diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR analytics is advantageous.
• Organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
