Given the recent growth of our team to approx. 60 team members, we are looking for a Senior People and Culture Lead to attract, hire, retain, engage, review, and develop talent (people) while creating great conditions for collaboration (culture) that contribute to our organization’s mission and financial sustainability.
Your Responsibilities
Assess the organization’s staffing needs and oversee our selection, hiring, on- and offboarding processes
Prepare and negotiate salary scheme placements, as well as constant improvement of our salary scheme
Design and implement organizational policies that promote a healthy work environment
Oversee and further develop our 360° feedback system and our performance management system
Conceptualize and oversee learning and development programs (incl. leadership programs)
Develop retention strategies and oversee our team alumni engagement
Position our organization as a highly attractive employer (in collaboration with our brand & communication functions)
Develop an agile organizational culture that combines impact orientation with a business mindset, fosters innovation and enables efficiency & effectiveness (together with the organization’s leadership)
Strengthen and embed our core values (trust, courage, and collaboration) as well as our core principles (wellbeing, sustainability, accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion) in our organizational culture
What you bring
Passion and commitment to shaping our organizational culture and team development
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR/People/Culture roles, with expertise in employee relations, HR management, and culture development
Solid knowledge of Austrian labor legislation
Excellent communication abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
Experience in sociocratic structures (e.g. Holacracy) is a plus
An MSc degree in HR or relevant certification is a plus

Job Specifications
Role: 20-25h/week with flexible schedule
Start date: January 2025
Compensation: The yearly salary for full-time is between €48,294 and €63,386 gross, depending on your education, qualifications and work experience. The salary is subject to an annual inflation adaptation (first adaptation already in March 2025).
