We are looking for a Solution Architect with focus on SAP solutions in our Business Application department. As a Solution Architect you bridge the gap between a business need and the technology by designing the end-to-end solution and its components. You collaborate with project managers, consultants or domain architects to find the best fitting solution by matching it to existing systems or identify which components need to be built from scratch. Furthermore, you design, build, and operate shared platforms that are used to efficiently develop and run business facing applications.
Job DescriptionSOLUTION DESIGN
As a Solution Architect at Red Bull, you will design solutions according to business requirements using on-premise and cloud technologies that are stable, state of the art and supported by operations. Together with IT project managers, you will lead the design and architecture of comprehensive IT solutions using on-premises and cloud technologies that meet business requirements. You will work with IT project managers, developers, vendors and other stakeholders to align business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. In addition, you will communicate features, behavior and other aspects of the proposed components to the teams involved.
GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT
In this role, you will provide technical guidance and leadership to the application teams throughout the application lifecycle. In doing so, you will support and lead problem analysis (e.g. RCA) in collaboration with various partners. You will also drive the adoption of new technologies, best practices and proven reference architectures.
INTEGRATION OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES
In order to continuously improve existing systems and processes, you will evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools and frameworks. You always ensure the seamless integration of new solutions into existing systems and infrastructures.
DOCUMENTATION AND GUIDLINES
The creation and further maintenance of comprehensive documentation of solution architectures, including diagrams, specifications and guidelines, is also part of your comprehensive area of responsibility. You will always ensure compliance with industry standards, legal regulations and company guidelines.
QualificationsUniversity education and degree in computer science or a related field of study
Several years of professional experience in a technical/IT field, preferably as a Solution Architect
Advanced knowledge of IT with a focus on strategic thinking and the ability to present architectural issues and negotiate with stakeholders
Experience in IT project management and in working with consultants as well as in the design and development of integrations or extensions for standard applications and SAP systems
Good understanding of SAP modules and processes with the common architecture patterns and the components surrounding them (e.g. MM, SD, PLM, AP, AR, master data distribution)
Knowledge of development and enhancement frameworks within SAP - ABAP Objects, CDS, SAP Fiori developments, OData developments
Knowledge of modern web technologies and best practices such as REST, GraphQL, API management, data ingestion & streaming, CDN
Good communication skills in both German and English
Strong leadership and communication skills as well as technical and entrepreneurial understanding of business processes
Additional InformationDue to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,392 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
