SQL specialist/performance tuner for databases (m/f/d) Location: Geilenkirchen | immediately Are you an experienced SQL specialist and love "tinkering" with complex databases to get the best possible performance out of them? Databases and their optimization are your world, and you have no problem diving deep into the subject matter to find efficient solutions? Perfect, then we're looking for you! Your tasks Optimization of ERP databases: You work on databases that are more performant than Oracle and Co. and ensure that they run even faster and more reliably. Database maintenance and enhancements: instead of simple maintenance, you develop solutions that make operation easier and work sustainably. Creation of customized database backends: You tinker with frameworks that are better than common solutions such as Entity Framework or ADO.NET and make sure that everything runs smoothly. Performance tuning: You optimize data layers and ensure that even large amounts of data are processed efficiently. Innovation and further development: You help us to develop database solutions that not only set standards today, but also in the future. What you bring to the table Sound database knowledge: You are very familiar with SQL and at least one of the major database systems such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle or comparable systems. Hands-on mentality: You love tinkering and tweaking performance to get the best out of it. Programming is not a foreign word: Even if the focus is on databases, you should have programming experience and understand complex interrelationships. Tinkerer mentality: The main thing is that it works! You are creative when it comes to solving problems and enjoy finding new ways of doing things. Graduate or experienced: You either have a degree in computer science or have completed comparable training - experience is more important to us than formal qualifications.
