The University Computer Center (HRZ) is seeking to fill the following permanent position at the earliest possible date: Web administrator (m/f/d) Pay group 11 TV-L Berlin universities with 100% of regular working hours Identification no.: 101/24 Our team offers around 13,000 students, 300 professors, 450 employees and 700 external teaching staff a wide range of central IT services. As part of the advertised position, you will assume central responsibility for the subject area "Web" in the university computer center with your colleagues. We are looking for a committed and motivated person who appreciates and promotes teamwork. A professional error culture and the willingness to undergo continuous further training are important prerequisites. Field of activity Operation of IT specialist applications: Administration of content management systems, both in on-premise operation and in cloud operation Monitoring the operability of the content management systems, initiating prompt countermeasures in the event of failures or IT attacks Implementation of quality of service properties for IT services of the HRZ on the supported systems (performance, information security, availability, data backup) Planning and implementation of software updates Supporting external service providers in specialist application-specific issues Technical instructions to the specialist application users Support: 3rd level support for specific problems in the area of the respective specialist application Technical guidance 1st and 2nd level support Technical requirements Completed university degree (Bachelor/Diploma FH) in computer science or in a subject with comparable content (presentation of the degree at the latest at the time of signing the employment contract) Alternatively, comparable skills and experience In-depth expertise in the administration of specialist server applications for large organizations (at least 100 IT users) Knowledge of IT security, BSI IT baseline protection and GDPR Knowledge of 3rd level support Confident knowledge of written and spoken German Good knowledge of technical English Also an advantage: Experience in advising and supporting web authors in the creation of accessible content and legally compliant design Non-technical requirements Confident, professional and convincing appearance, strong communication skills Quality awareness, independence, structured and goal-oriented way of working Willingness to undergo continuous training and further education High level of commitment and motivation Friendly and team-oriented demeanor We offer a workplace in the city center that is easily accessible by public transport External and internal training opportunities Company health management (including various sports courses) Family-friendly working hours through flexitime and alternating mobile working Pension scheme through the Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Länder (VBL) An open-minded team that would be delighted to have you join them Application instructions Your application should include a cover letter stating your motivation for applying.
