The Position

As an Finance Excellence Partner you collaborate with our Commercial Finance colleagues across countries in a networked team, to streamline finance operations by simplifying, standardising, and utilising insights for better decision-making. You contribute to fostering a culture of innovation & experimentation (explore digital finance, AI) and drive automation and digitalization across finance.

The Opportunity:

• You drive the transition of affiliate focused finance operations towards an above country-cluster level.

• You identify and analyse opportunities for efficiency gains, promoting continuous improvement through standardised processes and tasks in order to be brilliant at the basic.

• You are the liaison to various stakeholders across the global Roche finance environment (e.g. eCoE, RSS).

• You leverage technology & automation to drive digitalization.

• You participate in squads and cross-chapter teams to address high-priority projects with end-to-end responsibility and Identify and implement best and efficient processes within the relevant cluster.

• You work closely with Finance Enterprise Partners to enable better customer experience and business impact along the customer journey.

• You explore and apply new technologies in the fields of automation and AI.

Who you are:

• You have a solid understanding of management and financial accounting, as well as affiliate finance know how.

• You have demonstrated problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a growth mindset.

• You have the ability to work and thrive in a networked environment, cross-departments, stakeholders and geographies.

• You are actively seeking input and building relationships with other stakeholders in the ecosystem.

• You have robust analytical skills, including business process improvement expertise and a strong business understanding to drive innovation effectively.

• You have a proven experience in finance, preferably in a sales-focused or commercial environment and are familiar with SAP or comparable ERP-systems.

• You are characterised by a high level of social competence and are able to accurately record and efficiently communicate in both German and English.
