System Engineer / Integration Specialist Radiology Solutions (m/f/d) - Home office possible
As a System/DevOps Engineer you will come into contact with a very wide range of systems and tasks. You will join the team responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, and performance of the entire IT infrastructure within PACS on WEB and other backend infrastructure solutions. You monitor the implementation of our standards, and you also support our internal users in case of problems. Due to the exponential growth, you and the team will further expand the infrastructure worldwide. This includes, for example, thinking about new technologies together with the team and helping to realise them.
Your new role:
Constantly improving and optimizing our existing and new infrastructure
Designing and supporting cloud infrastructure
Configuration and monitoring of backup and recovery
Designing and deploying new applications and making improvements to existing applications
You closely monitor the daily management of the server park
You will research new technologies and advise them when they contribute to an improvement of an existing or new platform
A master's, bachelor's or equivalent degree in ICT and/or informatics; or equally experienced with a strong academic performance
Minimum 2 years experience
Previous Service Transition and Service Design knowledge of importance, but not mandatory
Knowledge of healthcare and medical imaging and communication standards like HL7, DICOM etc.
Knowledge of workflow within a hospital/clinical environment or experience within the healthcare sector is a plus
PACS / RIS System experience is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus
Excellent training and presentation abilities
Fluency in English (verbal and written)
Good understanding of and practice with virtualization solutions
Good understanding of (Linux) operating systems and computer networks
Knowledge about containerization of applications and orchestration is an asset
Track record in leading complex projects in a software or high-tech field, with proven experience utilizing various project management methodologies
Requirements engineering preferred, but not mandatory
Understanding of software development processes
Experience with regulations applicable to medical devices preferred, but not mandatory
Product- or Program Management experience preferred, but not mandatory
Positive attitude, proactive, self-starter, both action and results oriented
Well-developed analytical, diagnostic and problem resolution skills
A strong team player, maintaining a high level of quality in a challenging environment
Continuous learning orientation; keeping aware of new and emerging technologies
Technical aptitude mixed with a solid clinical hospital background preferred
Willingness to travel and work out of hours if required.
Strong communication skills, troubleshooting skills and able to self-direct
