Our E-Assessment department develops the Hogrefe Test System (HTS), a web platform for comprehensive online psychological assessments. Our e-assessment tech team consists of over 40 people: Software Engineers, Psychologists, Support, Software Testers, UX/UI Designers as well as Scrum Masters and Product Owners who develop, learn and progress together. We are looking for a Customer Solution Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible. Use your skills and experience to work closely with our customers and partners to integrate our highly successful assessment platform into their software and workflows. Your tasks You will develop elegant, reliable and efficient technical solutions, demonstrating your creativity and problem-solving skills. You proactively identify opportunities to improve the performance, scalability, maintainability and security of our solutions You will dive deep into troubleshooting our software, including on production systems, contributing to the smooth operation of our software ecosystem. You provide technical training to internal and external development teams to ensure they are equipped with the best knowledge to use our solutions effectively You will work with the sales teams to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process, including product demonstrations, technical presentations and answering technical queries from potential customers. You will write and maintain technical documentation, integration guidelines and best practice guides You will work in a collaborative environment with peer reviews of designs and solutions, actively sharing your knowledge and helping to continuously improve our work together. Your profile Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable field or comparable professional experience At least three years of professional experience as a software engineer. You are curious and have a holistic interest in solving problems for other engineers while providing an excellent customer experience. You are familiar with Java and modern web technologies and know what can be achieved with them You know the building blocks of a good API and want to continuously improve it as a product with a great developer experience. You have excellent analytical skills and can troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues You have a strong sense of ownership and can handle ambiguity well.
