Job Description Summary

The Life Cycle Manager acts as a project lead at Site or Platform (e.g. ESO) for STO manufacturing projects during the Life Cycle of a given product, e. g. product launches, changes, transfers, pruning, divestment, and other special projects, ensuring coordination across global and local functions in alignment with Global / regional functions as appropriate.
The Life Cycle Manager has to setup and lead local and / or global cross-functional teams in alignment with Global / regional functions as appropriate, to ensure optimal realization of product strategies (considering LCM methodology, sourcing strategies, assortment optimization/complexity management) and ensure STO objectives can be reached during ongoing life-cycle activities regarding Supply performance, TPC, Inventory and Compliance.

Your key responsibilites include (but not limited to):

  • Setup and lead cross-functional project teams to ensure timely implementation of all on-going life cycle activities according to defined strategy

  • Within Life Cycle Projects, responsible to define the scope and objectives, as well milestone planning to ensure project closure within agreed timelines

  • Support preparation of business cases by providing relevant data, provide reports/updates, to facilitate Management decision-making on life cycle activities

  • Ensure the submission and implementation strategy is defined and aligned with all responsible stakeholders (e.g., Regulatory, Planning, Quality) during project initiation phase

  • As part of the submission and implementation phase (mainly for transfers, changes and changes within launch projects) drive the agreement on the change request strategy with relevant functions and ensure that the project related change requests are maintained in an adequate status

  • Represent STO Site / -Platform in cross-functional teams to ensure coordination of all activities at site level and E2E responsibility of Launch & Transfer project execution, from handover until launch supply / 1st supply incl. resupply.

  • Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements (including record management)

What you will bring to the role:

  • University degree in science (chemistry, pharmacy or chemical engineering)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience, including at least 2 years experience in various pharmaceutical functions e.g. supply chain / production and / or technical development

  • Fluent knowledge of English language. Knowledge of German language is an advantage

In addition to a market-competitive base salary, we offer an attractive incentive program, a modern company pension scheme, childcare facilities, learning and development options as well as worldwide career opportunities. In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 60.212,18/year (on a full time basis). In most cases, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies. We are open for part-time and job sharing models and support flexible and remote working where possible.
