Job descriptionIn this position you will be responsible for:
- Managing double-entry bookkeeping tasks with precision and accuracy.
- Handling tax-related matters, including VAT compliance.
- Utilizing accounting software like SAP or BMD for day-to-day operations.
- Confidently working with Excel to analyze and organize financial data.
- Active support in various finance projects.
- Ongoing administrative and organizational activities within variety and diversity range scope of duties and area of responsibility.
Qualifications- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping (WIFI Bookkeeper Level 2 or equivalent)
- Proficiency in accounting systems such as SAP or BMD
- Solid understanding of VAT and basic tax regulations
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel skills for financial tasks
- Detail-oriented and precise working style
- Dependable and able to manage confidential data responsibly
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Organizational skills to handle large datasets efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with colleagues, authorities, and tax advisors
- Flexibility and resilience to manage time-sensitive tasks, especially during financial closing periods
- Awareness of legal and regulatory requirements in accounting
- Familiarity with the unique needs of the aviation industry is a plus
- Understanding of foreign currencies and cross-border tax laws is beneficial
