Join us as Senior Consolidation & Controlling Specialist!
Your Challenge & Tasks
- Consolidation: Coordinate the preparation of the initial consolidated financial statements for the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Project Management: Manage the initial consolidation project for existing and new companies at Mavie from inception through completion, coordinating with various stakeholders and departments to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Quarterly Consolidation and Controlling: Set up and implement a quarterly consolidation delivery process, focusing on best practices and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Ensure that company performance KPIs are delivered with sound quality, based on reporting packages and internal performance measures.
- Management of Subsidiary Consolidation: Oversee the consolidation process for multiple subsidiaries, ensuring proper accounting practices and timely submission of financial data by our Finance experts in subsidiaries.
- Reporting & Controlling: Prepare consolidated financial statements. Manage the tracking and analysis of performance KPIs to ensure alignment with company goals providing insights and analysis to senior management and the shareholder company.
- Performance Management: Analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with local teams to implement solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Regulatory Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting and tax regulations and internal policies.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls related to the consolidation process, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with external accounting and tax providers to ensure timely bookings, as well as with the Group Consolidation and Tax team to guarantee accurate reporting to the Group.
What you need to be successful
- 3-7 years of professional experience in Group Accounting or Consolidation, ideally in an international environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and consolidation processes.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with consolidation software (SAP) is a plus.
- Experience in working with multiple subsidiaries and knowledge of international accounting standards.
- A results-oriented mindset, with a track record of implementing performance management and controlling strategies to ensure budget adherence and optimize resource allocation.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German(written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Due to legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Our salary range for this position starts at 60.000 EUR. Based on your experience and qualifications, our final offer will be a competitive market value-based salary.
