Are you ready to lead commercial activities and develop local brand strategies? As a Franchise Lead CVRM (CardioVascularRenalMetabolic) , you will proactively collaborate with global and regional teams, as well as other markets. You will lead and develop a dedicated sales and marketing team, ensuring the implementation of a strong cross-functional account management approach to lead the franchise effectively.

Accountabilities

Leading commercial activities
• Prepare Marketing Strategy
• Support cross-functional collaboration
• Develop and oversee the implementation of patient-centric omnichannel strategies
• Direct teams to manage brand team meetings to ensure cross-functional working
• Monitor Sales and Marketing targets and optimize execution

Develop local Brand strategy
• Ensure alignment with global strategy
• Review analyses of local market and competitor landscape to propose action plans
• Ensure execution of operational plans and brand objectives
• Deliver annual brand plans and detailed tactical/activity plans
• Financial planning and forecasting (including long-term forecasts)
• Direct team to evaluate customer insights and revise impactful campaigns and projects based on customer needs and market environment
• Share innovations with other markets and cooperations
• Develop KEE relationships and monitor them with Medical team members

Leadership
• Lead and mentor Portfolio Specialist sales managers and Portfolio Specialist team by undertaking regular monthly double visits
• Provide direct feedback post double visits
• Motivate and empower the team
• Performance management by setting clear targets and Sales metrics in alignment with strategies and company goals
• Ensure timely execution and delivery of high-quality key account plans from direct reports
• Ensure Capability Development

Essential Skills/Experience
• Advanced Business Education in economic or natural sciences (master or PhD or equivalent experience)
• At least 8 years proven work experience in commercial roles in the pharmaceutical industry including leadership roles
• Demonstrated experience in line management
• Excellent command in English and German (written and spoken)
• Ability to plan strategically
• Commercial awareness
• Analytical business and audit reporting skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent understanding of the Austrian market
• Proficient MS Office
• Ability to work with new technologies
• Displays high levels of communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated, meticulous, able to work under pressure
• Agility in managing dynamic work environment

  • Starting salary €105k per annum, in alignment to Collective Agreement for Trade (KV Handel 2025) (full-time basis)
