Join our Global Owned Media team at Red Bull in Salzburg, Austria, as an Owned Editorial Intern, and support the Editorial Team in shaping impactful content. Collaborate with the Senior Editorial Manager and Editorial Manager on tasks such as content planning, managing editorial calendars, updating stories, and conducting research for emerging markets. Work closely with the sub-editing team to ensure quality control while gaining invaluable insights into the processes behind content management and day-to-day editorial operations.
Job DescriptionContent Planning
Assist with managing the AirTable calendar, scheduling non-priority playground content, and organizing key events and tentpoles in the 2025 calendar. Reach out to markets to establish content plans and identify relevant local content that can be elevated to an international level.
Content Management
Identify high-performing evergreen stories and refresh them with 2025 events, updated hyperlinks, and fresh images. Highlight content requiring new text, collaborate with the Editorial Team to commission updates to freelancers, review freelance submissions against briefs, and deliver final content to the sub-editing team.
Story Building
Use the Editor app to create web stories that follow SEO best practices, leverage relevant features, and present assets in an engaging, premium way to optimize user experience.
Athlete Page Updating
Support the maintenance of athlete profile pages by updating images and text to ensure the content remains fresh and current.
QualificationsRelevant educational background in Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Fluency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
Experience in website editorial work, including writing, editing, and content creation.
Proficiency in using digital tools such as CMS, Airtable, and SEO tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Additional InformationDue to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €2.303 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
