Job description

In your new role you will:

* Create and maintain technical documentation, breaking down complex information into simple, reusable pieces and organizing it in a sustainable way
* Set up and master a DITA-based language tool, ensuring quality and consistency of documentation and driving best practices in a continuously evolving tool landscape
* Develop and implement strategies for efficient content generation, including reuse and automation, and create metadata schemas and tagging systems for easy content retrieval
* Support users in finding information and be the first point of contact for new features or processes, providing expertise in HTML, XML, DITA, and AI-powered toolchains
* Work in an agile environment, planning documentation according to project needs, and continuously giving and receiving feedback to and from stakeholders using Jira
* Drive digital transformation by anticipating and implementing future trends, and developing models to represent complex content structures and relationships

Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

* An education in computer science, industrial engineering, electrical engineering OR education in language, (technical) communication or similar, with two or more years of relevant experience in the computing or electrical engineering field
* A structured and precise way of working
* Knowledge of or experience in working with databases
* Willingness to adapt to changes and desire to initiate the changes
* Excellent communication and writing skills in English - other languages are a plus
* Knowledge of AI is a plus

We are filling this position through one of our leasing partners. A valid work permit for Austria (RWR-Card+) or EU citizenship is a prerequisite for this position. This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees of EEI with a minimum salary of 3.665,31. (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
