Senior Flight Physics Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Flight Physics Engineer to join our growing start-up company in the aviation industry. You will support the Flight Physics team in activities related to aerodynamics & aeroacoustics, flight performance and loads & aeroelastics.

As a Senior Flight Performance Engineer, you will:

• Generate knowledge on cyclorotor aerodynamic & aeroacoustic performance using numerical CFD simulations & experimental data
• Gather knowledge on the performance of air vehicles equipped with cyclorotors from numerical simulations & experimental data
• Support the planning, preparation and conduction of aerodynamic & aeroacoustic performance measurements of cyclorotor prototypes on our in-house test bench as well as in external wind tunnels
• Support the planning, preparation and conduction of (performance) measurements of air vehicles equipped with with cyclorotors
• Post-process and analyse the results of CFD simulations and experiments
• Post-process and analyse the results of in-house & wind tunnel experiments
• Contribute to the flight performance analysis of air vehicles equipped with with cyclorotors
• Contribute to the analysis of cyclorotors in terms of loads & aeroelasticity
• Draw conclusions from the obtained results and present them to the relevant stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with latest developments on Flight Physics topics and certification regulations
