What You Will Be Doing
- Define the electrical design of a complete machine.
- Presenting and defending the studies carried out during project technical reviews, in collaboration with customers or internally.
- Create detailed hardware documentation, including specifications, assembly instructions
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, Scientists, and other colleagues in a cross-functional team.
- Analyze and respond to customer specifications for the electrical design of complex projects, assessing the risks and opportunities of the proposed solutions.
- Carry out electrical designs using EPLAN Software, assembly layouts and bills of materials.
- Work closely with Software engineers to integrate steering logic into electrical structures
- Produce functional electrical documentation for machines, including functional specification documents (FS) and design documents (DS).
- Support the commissioning during machine assembly and fine-tuning, updating documentation accordingly.
- Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, and best practices to streamline knowledge sharing
- Improve design standards and processes through active participation in design reviews
- Acting as an expert in the field, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior team members.
What You Bring To The Job
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field
- Multiple years of industry experience
- Proficient in EPLAN software for electrical design
- Familiar with actuators, motors, materials, design for manufacturing, mechanisms, and contemporary manufacturing technologies
- Strong knowledge of design fundamentals including safety
- Ability to take ownership of the design process and work as a self-directed member of the team
- Experience in collaboration with technical team, partners and customers
- A commitment to constant learning and personal growth, both individually and with the team
