IT Application Professional

As the IT Application Professional, you will be pivotal in executing our global IT strategy. You will coordinate and communicate IT-related aspects of global business applications, oversee their regional deployments, manage the demand process, and take ownership of regional business applications. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues from HQ, local IT and business colleagues in Europe and LATAM to successfully implement and launch projects and ensure continuous contribution to service improvement for business applications. In addition, the Application Professional is responsible for service ownership and management of specific business unit-wide applications.

DEMAND CAPTURE AND ALIGNMENT

As an IT Application Professional, you will act as the single point of contact for defined requirements and ensure clarity and consistency in communication. Your responsibilities will include gathering requirements related to business analysis (BA) to ensure that all requirements are accurately documented. You will play a crucial role in enabling business-to-business communication and ensure smooth interaction between the various stakeholders.
Another part of your role is to ensure a well-prepared and transparent decision-making process that builds trust and efficiency within the team. You will also be responsible for communicating and explaining the decisions made and ensuring that everyone involved is informed and understands the reasons for the decisions made.

SERVICE DELIVERY AND PROJECTS

You will be responsible for the project management of global and regional projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope and on budget. Another important task is to maintain the global and regional project roadmap to ensure that it aligns with the requirements of the IT areas in the different countries. Effective communication with stakeholders is crucial to ensure that all parties are kept informed and involved throughout the project cycle and to ensure business and user satisfaction with the new services.

SERVICE OWNERSHIP

In this role, you will take responsibility for aligned and agreed regional services, managing and coordinating external support and development partners. You will be responsible for the customization, development and maintenance of service roadmaps within the IT area and coordinate with local and global service owners to ensure that the solutions fit into the overall strategy.
You will also ensure that country-specific requirements are communicated to global service owners.
Regular review of operational KPIs is essential to gain insight into service knowledge and performance and to derive actionable improvement plans.

University degree in computer science, business informatics or equivalent experience

Strong communication and negotiation skills, solid and comprehensive understanding of business processes

Strong project management experience, ITIL know-how beyond theory
Written and spoken English mandatory, Spanish an advantage

General understanding of databases and the architecture of web applications

Team-oriented, self-driven and motivated personality with the ability to understand complex and different types of requirements and translate them into technical concepts

Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of employees/executives

Systematic and structured way of working with a strong focus on performance and results

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
