Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop, test and industrialize innovative Lithium-Ion Battery packs for hybrid and electric vehicles.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz.

Your core responsibilities are:

• Manage a team of software development engineers in automotive environment under consideration of industry relevant processes and standards (e.g. A-SPICE, IATF 16949, ISO 26262, etc.)
• Drive the strategic direction of our products & services considering emerging and legacy technologies
• Active engagement in negotiation of project scope and timing (FIP) during acquisition phase
• Ensure innovation in SW development process striving for efficiency (process, methods, tools, certifications)
• Ensure innovation in SW functionality to increase battery safety, performance and life

• Develop and align optimized SW qualification methods and processes with Verification/Validation team

What you need is:

• Completed technical education
• Experience of leading a more than 30 head count team of SW development engineers
• Experience in SW project management in automotive environment
• Knowledge about automotive software development environment / tools
• Leading by example, integrity, transparency & accountability
• Innovation and cost-driven mindset
• Seeing the future with strategic thinking
• Very good English and German language skills

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (All-in) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 98.000.--

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
