Your Responsibilities:
Design, planning and specification of supply scope on large and/or complex customer projects execution in collaboration with other teams and disciplines like the development teams, customers, partners, consortium partners, EPC or suppliers.
Technical project management on individual projects, customer projects and working on process engineering and related documentation.
Own calculation of vessels, fittings, steel structure and pipeline construction with regard to pressure losses, pressure resistance, statics and material selection. In coordination and collaboration with the simulation department.
Support Sales in early project development phase. Preliminary equipment specification and technical interface with suppliers, customer specification review, customer meetings, design proposal drawings, technical documentation development.
Cooperate on design for compliance with technical regulations, engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements and related specifications.
Driving forwards, adopting, and following up the implementation of product improvements, process optimizations and lessons learned initiatives.
Co-operating with the development teams on defining and designing standardized components/systems/machines and configurations.
Coordinate changes to project requirements with Sales, Project Management, Sourcing, and Production teams.
Improve actively working processes and procedures to ensure effective and qualitative results.
Support on quality issues, design reviews, failure and root cause analysis.
Provide support to site managers or field engineering during installation, commissioning and warranty.
Your Profile:
Bachelors / Masters´ degree (or equivalent) in Process- or Mechanical Engineering or similar specialization
Several years of working experience in a related Engineering project environment
Significant engineering experience in gas engines power plant engineering
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and an understanding of power plant engineering
Familiar with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, steam systems, emission control and piping systems
Proven experience in mechanical design, PFD, P&Id, Lay outs and order execution
Very good knowledge of relevant design codes and design tools
Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time in Europe and globally
Demonstrated project management skills including coordinating activities globally and across functions
Good knowledge of both written and spoken German and English
A valid work permit for Austria as a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.728,36 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
