Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled senior analytics engineer (m/f/d) with excellent communication skills who will work alongside a team of talented and experienced analysts & engineers, use modern technology and methods, and continually push boundaries to further develop and expand our reporting suite. You will learn to be a compass for your main stakeholders – “the Product teams” – helping them navigate through business questions and actionable insights.
You will have an excellent opportunity to join a growing team that is developing and managing Sportradar’s digital advertising platform. Within the self-organized and agile analytics team, you will play an active role in developing Sportradar’s client-facing advertising services that we are further driving with our innovative technologies and highly motivated team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpreting data to inform decisions and tell accurate stories to our advertisers/stakeholders.
- Participate in designing and developing data-driven, intelligent, and scalable systems while keeping your focus on quality, observability, and security
- Evaluating existing data sources and related products on a regular basis, performing QA and health checks to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborating with sales, tech and product teams to design, implement and refine state-of-the-art digital dashboards.
- Evaluation, Evolution & Implementation from concept to delivery, supporting our ML & AI team to deliver projects which generate value to our end clients.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Past proven professional experience working in Data Engineering and Analytics within product companies (Experience within AdTech a bonus).
- Strong business sense and analytical mindset coupled with the ability to communicate analytical results (Experience with Data Visualisation Tools is a plus).
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience automating infrastructure deployment. CI/CD Pipelines: Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD workflows.
- Exceptional SQL & Python Skills and ETL Pipelines: Proficiency in building pipelines, especially with PySpark.
- Data Modelling: Skilled in designing logical and physical data models.
- Good experience with cloud-based services, ideally with AWS
- Fluent in verbal and written English and possess superb communication and leadership skills, with the ability to decompose complex solutions and insights into a straightforward narrative for the rest of the company
- Experience with ML technologies and pipelines
- Knowledge of TDD and other testing methodologies.
