Job Responsibilities:
As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will work in a dedicated team on the development of hardware and power electronics for inverters for traction drives (voltages up to 1000V and currents up to 800A).
Your Responsibilities
Development of hardware and power electronics for inverters in the automotive industry
Creation of simulation models using Matlab/Simulink/Plecs and coordination of tests for model verification
Preparation, setup, and execution of development-related measurements
Creation and modification of circuit diagrams, including support for PCBA design
Implementation of development processes (Automotive Spice, ISO26262)
Who we are looking for
We are seeking someone who is passionate about power electronics and is ready to bring their enthusiasm and motivation to become a valuable part of our team.
Your preferred qualifications
Degree from a technical university (Master / PhD) in the field of electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or technical physics
At least 3 years experience in the field of power electronics
Understanding of complex systems consisting of mechanics, electronics, and software
Strong interest in the field of power electronics
First experience with MATLAB/Simulink and/or Plecs
Willingness to travel within Ausria & Germany
Proficient in written and spoken English
German language skills highly appreciated

It is important to us to offer a fair and attractive remuneration package. The gross monthly salary for 38.5 hours according to the collective agreement for the automotive industry is at least € 4,300 (14 x p.a .) for this position. The actual salary will then be determined depending on your actual number of hours.
