The Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) is a non-profit making, educational and scientific association aiming to improve patient care through the support of teaching, science, research and clinical practice in the field of cardiovascular and interventional radiology. Based in Vienna, the society represents more than 9,600 members and organises the largest annual IR congress in the world. Our main mission is to provide education and training to our members, to enhance patient care and to constantly improve the medical discipline of interventional radiology.
We are now looking for a new team member to join our Editorial Office team, which manages CIRSE’s scientific journals: CVIR, CVIR Endovascular and CVIR Oncology, and oversees the production of CIRSE’s Standard of Practice (SOP) documents, which are aimed at helping improve the quality of patient care in interventional radiology and assist interventional radiologists in their daily practice.
This position would be the ideal role for a candidate who is able to quickly pick up new information, think critically and creatively, and take initiative, and who is interested in scientific publishing, editorial work and is willing to contribute to the diverse projects aiding in the development of CIRSE’s journals and SOP documents.
Your roles and responsibilitiesThe salary is € 2,500 gross. We offer a fixed-term contract for 17 months.
