Every day. The Faculty of Medicine at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf is a top center of research-based medicine. Its projects and alliances in basic and clinical research are funded by the German Research Foundation, state and federal ministries and the EU, among others. The Faculty of Medicine is looking for the Research IT department as soon as possible for two IT specialists (m/f/d), full-time and permanent Research IT forms the interface between the researchers of the University Hospital Düsseldorf and the Medical Faculty of Heinrich Heine University and the IT of the UKD. As a service provider, we operate research-relevant infrastructure, including a high-performance cluster for computing-intensive tasks (M-HPC) and support research operations with various applications and assistance in the implementation of software projects. As part of the campus-wide introduction of the CENTRAXX software, you will establish ETL routes between different software systems. You will work closely with clinics and institutes and provide support in selecting the data to be transferred. You will also develop workflows and reports. You will also help with the system administration of important Windows and Linux systems and work on the development of a research network. You will work in a dedicated team with people who are fully committed to medical progress. What do we expect? Completed training as an IT system administrator or a comparable qualification At least 3 years of professional experience in the requested field of activity Very good knowledge of Linux, VM and container virtualization Knowledge of interface standards such as (HL7, FHIR, XML, DICOM) and terminologies (LOINC, SNOMED CT) is a plus Very good verbal and written communication skills in German and English round off your profile What else do you bring to the table?
