Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Challenges: Rating, Charging, and Billing are essential components of the telecom industry's revenue management process.

As a provider of carrier-grade software for telecom operators, our solutions are designed to meet the highest standards of accuracy, scalability, and performance. Delivering real-time rating and charging for millions of subscribers and processing billions of transactions each month is critical to building and maintaining the trust of our customers.

As a Senior Developer on our Billing Systems team, you will carry this responsibility. Your role extends beyond the meticulous design and development of software - it also involves supporting DevOps, Billing Operations, and Customer Care teams that operate around the clock, 24/7/365, to serve our customers worldwide.

• Develop, test and document code of assigned stories/tasks
• Ensure the high quality of your and your team's code
• Ensure the achievement of the overall big picture of your product
• Create an efficient implementation design in accordance with product big picture and story requirements
• Ensure seamless deploy of code and handover to customer-care-team
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Product/Project Management, Quality Assurance, etc. to align deliverables
• Help Operations Team in finding and resolving bugs and issues
• Help Presales Team in creating a solution design for our customers
• Support team members in achieving their best

• Solid and completed computer science education with 5+ years of professional experience
• In depth proficiency in PHP
• Strong expertise with APIs (REST/SOAP - XML/JSON)
• Strong expertise in databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Expertise in cloud native infrastructures (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in GO and/or Java
• Good knowledge of German and English

• Experience in the telecom and connectivity industry is an advantage
• Experience in the billing software domain is an advantage
• Knowledge of modern software development practices and tools

Salary: Your salary for this position will be between 55.000 EUR and 70.000 EUR per Year (fulltime) - depending on your qualification.
Performance-based bonuses are part of our incentive model.
