• Develop simulation environments to design and validate microgrid controller, including models for renewables, energy storage, distributed energy resources and grid components
• Carry out microgrid study cases to support sales organization
• Execute software projects, including preparation of requirements, validation plans and test specifications
• Support plant commissioning at customer site
• Drive innovation through systematic analyses of current products, create and evaluate ideas for continuous improvement

• Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Electric Engineering or equivalent
• Comprehensive knowledge in power systems modelling and control, including on/off grid operation, energy management, power flow regulation and voltage & frequency control
• Substantial knowledge in modelling and scripting within Python, MATLAB/Simulink and PowerFactory.
• Solid skills in IEC 61131-3 structured text programming
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed
• A valid work permit for Austria as a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
