In this project you will contribute to the optimization of high volume semiconductor production. With the implementation of machine learning algorithms into our testing- and calibration-systems, we can expect cost savings up to 1 Mio. Euro, by making the process faster and more intelligent.
The goal is, to create an ML model, based on existing productiondata-sets, which can predict calibration results for high accuracy Analog-Digital-Converters.
Tasks:

• Understand technical requirements and concept of actual trim-procedure to set boundary conditions
• Collect and analyze existing data
• Align with various internal data-science departments to enable the needed IT resources
• Implement machine learning model and verify with available data-sets
• Work with Test-Development-Engineers on the productive implementation of the solution

This thesis has to be written in cooperation with a university.__Further Information
__ Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time or Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months

You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed Master student from the field of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Robotics, or related disciplines. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

• A background in AI/ML methodologies, excellent coding skills and already some experience with the analysis of big data-sets
• Electronics knowledge - understand the basic working concepts of analog power ICs and/or ADCs as a plus
• Strong problem-solving abilities, out-of-the-box thinking and good communication skills
• Fluency in English, German is a plus
