Logistics & Quality Specialist (m/f/d) - limited contract

We are a specialty vaccine company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases addressing unmet medical needs.

We have leveraged our expertise and capabilities both to commercialize three vaccines, including the world’s first and only chikungunya vaccine, and to rapidly advance a broad range of vaccine candidates into and through the clinic, including candidates against Lyme disease, Shigella and Zika.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a motivated Logistics & Quality Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team in Vienna until November 2027. Specifically, your tasks will include:

• Create and manage purchase orders
• Identify, track, and follow up on deviations and change requests
• Prepare risk assessment documents for SCM-owned processes
• Ensure cGMP compliance in SCM processes, SOPs, and form templates
• Act as the key interface between Supply Chain Management and Quality Assurance
• Support the development of validation and qualification documents for equipment
• Contribute to initiatives preparing SCM for a new ERP system
• Manage customs procedures for import/export (P36 customs training is a plus)
• Handle import/export licenses with Austrian authorities

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant cross-functional experience in a GxP-regulated industry, preferably in QA, Procurement or Logistics
• Proficiency in handling import/export customs procedures and regulatory compliance (P36 customs training is a plus)
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Highly self-organized with a business-oriented mindset
• Independent working style with a strategic and analytical approach to processes
• Excellent proficiency in English (and German as a plus)
• Team player with strong social competence, able to collaborate effectively across departments

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 52.000 gross per year based on full-time employment. However, our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
