Cloud Platform Engineer (m/f/x)

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions
• Design and manage the company's cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with the Software Architect to design cloud-native solutions and guide the development team during the implementation phase
• Develop automation and orchestration scripts to streamline the deployment, scaling, and management of cloud applications and services
• Monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and security of cloud-based systems
• Ensure compliance with solution requirements, security standards, and best practices for cloud environments
• Work closely with developers and the operations team to identify and resolve issues and ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud applications

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions
• Experience with cloud solution design patterns (microservices, messaging, distributed caching, containers, IAM, etc.)
• Extensive knowledge of infrastructure as code, building CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps principles
• Experience with cloud computing technologies with Azure
• Experience with microservices and serverless architectures; containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and best practices
• Good knowledge in monitoring/logging/tracing, configuration management, and application testing
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Good proficiency in English (C1); German is a plus
