As of 1 January 2025, the internship allowance is EUR 700 and a transport subsidy of EUR 30 per month. An additional housing subsidy of EUR 170 per month will be provided to eligible interns.
Interns are required to be subscribed to a health insurance coverage for the entire duration of the internship. However, they are eligible to request enrolment in the Organization’s health insurance coverage at no additional cost.

SUMMARY OF THE ASSIGNED DUTIES, INCLUDING GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE POST

The Programme attracts talented students or recent graduates to the Organization and provides them with:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES/PRINCIPALES MISSIONS ET ACTIVITÉS
DUTY 1/Mission 1
Assist in the drafting and preparation of papers, proposals, reports and presentations as well as follow-up on administrative aspects of specific files/activities of the office;
DUTY 2/Mission 2
Provide administrative and logistical support to develop the liaison and other activities between the SRIUN office and UN entities;
DUTY 3/Mission 3
Assist in the background research related to development of analytical papers, project plans and drafting of decision papers
Perform any other duties as required by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS, COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES
Be enrolled in a, or have graduated from, a post-secondary accredited academic institution within the past one year on the date of submission of their application in the field of International Relations, Political Sciences, International Law, Business Management or related area at Bachelor level. Masters level would be an asset.
Experience required/EXPÉRIENCE:
No work experience required. Internship experience in an office setting or an international organization will be considered an asset.
