Lab Technician (m/f/d) - Join an Innovative Research Center!

Location: Villach, Austria

The Imerys Technology Center (ITC) Austria in Villach is a leading research center for innovative materials and technologies in the abrasive and advanced ceramics industries. For over 20 years, our team of 35 experts has been driving international projects forward - now we're looking for YOU!

Your Responsibilities - Exciting & Diverse:

• Conduct laboratory analyses to support R&D projects

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment

• Document and evaluate experimental data as well as manage and analyze data in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)

• Collaborate closely with engineers, other technicians as well as apprentices, to develop new materials

• Ensure compliance with safety standards & maintain laboratory order

Your Profile - What You Bring:

• Technical education or degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in industry or research

• Proficiency in a wide field of laboratory equipment & analytical methods (XRD, XRF, microscopy, etc.)

• Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)

• Accuracy, organizational skills & team spirit

• Hands-on mentality & interest in technical challenges

• Ability to work independently as well as in small teams

• Strong proficiency in both English and German (spoken & written)
