Speciality Gearboxes for Steel & Heavy Industry

YOUR TASKS

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business development initiatives and establishing a strong presence in US market, identifying growth opportunities, and building relationships to expand the company's market share.

* Acquire new customers for Sales in the US steel industry - focus on plant operators
* Professional management of existing accounts and networks and creation of networks across multiple sites of customers
* Gain a deeper understanding of customer needs (in terms of optimization, digitalization, service & repair) by continuous plant visits and creation of defined inquiries
* Develop solutions and work closely with our international teams on the West Coast and in Europe
* Stay involved until project execution and increase customer satisfaction
* Use the earned market knowledge to develop further sales activities and strategies for regions

YOUR PROFILE

* US - steel market knowledge and network - focus on plant operators
* Work experience in sales management as well as in production, maintenance or engineering
* Profound steel process know-how
* Technical problem-solving skills
* Affinity to digital systems, specifically to equipment monitoring systems
* Travel activity USA approx. 10 business days/months
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
