Job Description
General Summary:
The Territory Manager meets and exceeds established sales goals by maximizing new sales opportunities and maintaining and expanding our current customer base throughout the territory. The primary responsibility of the Territory Sales Manager is to achieve and exceed revenue targets through direct sales to newly identified opportunities in the region, through effective customer management and executing sales campaigns to support the company’s commercialization initiatives.
Responsibilities Include:
Market development
Communicating directly with customers to identify and record systemic trends across and through the customer base
Provide accurate and actionable market information and insights to EnviroLogix’s Marketing and Finance functions to enable further development of key markets
As appropriate and/or at the request of management assist in any special events, tradeshows, projects, or promotions to advance new business
Reports To: VP, Sales for the Americas
Skills Required:
2+ years’ experience in account management/sales positions (preferably in a related industry)
BA/BS degree (Economics, Finance, Business Administration) or equivalent experience
Ability to drive a car and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time
Ability to execute on work priorities while traveling
Determined self-starter; must be able to work effectively and efficiently in an independent role
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Creative and efficient problem-solver
Able to develop and nurture deep relationships, at all organizational levels, to drive revenue growth
Ability to synthesize and clearly explain technical information
Excellent attention to detail and able to set high standards for quality
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
