Your Responsibilities:- Technical Leadership, Ownership & Accountability
- Plan, lead and execute system & technology development projects and manage their execution to meet project team’s commitments.
- Lead, mentor and assist with analysis & resolution of technical challenges encountered by teams.
- Incorporate ‘lessons learned’ and ‘industry best practices’ regarding engine technologies, applicable processes, tools and standards into continuous development.
- Provide technical consultation throughout business-critical activities to all stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation and presentation of technical data to internal and external INNIO customers.
- Create and participate in the generation of ideas for innovative engine products, systems and technologies and be a champion for the generation of INNIO intellectual property.
Planning and Project Management- Set up project teams to serve the needs of the business, both from the point of view of correct organizational set-up and skills & experience selection.
- Define work packages and tasks to create impactful products and technologies, support the planning process and analyze skill gaps within the business.
- Support the personal development of emissions team members to improve expertise & skills.
- Support personnel additions & reductions, ensuring the right blend expertise levels.
Collaboration- Promote an open & communicative environment, both inside and external to the team, to ensure ideas considered equally and with appropriate consideration of all CTQs.
- Eliminate inefficiencies within project teams by use of suitable methods & processes, avoidance of duplication, minimization of work handovers and ownership of tasks.
- Be supportive to the other functions internal to engineering and external.
Your Profile:- Bachelor or Master of science in mechanical, chemical or process engineering or similar.
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and support project teams, with proven mentoring, coaching and motivational skills.
- Long-term professional experience in exhaust gas aftertreatment development with substantial experience in new product development and leading cross-functional projects.
- Proficient in engineering tools and methodologies relevant to exhaust gas aftertreatment development, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German, with the ability to influence, present key information and engage in discussions with senior management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with team player mentality. Ability to interact smoothly at all levels of the organization.
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.673,74 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
