Chief Information Security Officer (m/f/d) in CE, Vienna, Austria

Allianz Holding Eins is responsible for Central Europe (CE) focusing on strategic development, planning and leadership for financial services sectors within the region. The region covers 11 countries in total Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine.

Purpose of the position:

As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) you will heads the Information Security (IS) function of an Allianz CE Region and Allianz Holding Eins, ensures that an appropriate level of preventive, detective and responsive Information Security controls are designed, in operation, and monitored as part of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) for CE Region. You will coordinate the implementation of global and local controls required by rules and independently monitoring and reviewing the respective processes and mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

• Understands cyber security threat landscape and highly critical vulnerabilities.
• Implementing and monitoring the Information Security Program including periodic reports on the state of Information Security to the Board of Management, the Audit Committee and Senior Management.
• Reviewing and updating Information Security (IS) Risk Assessment. This includes incorporating new systems/processes into the risk assessment. Ensures controls assessments are assigned and completed in a timely manner.
• Conducts internal assurance reviews to ensure that policies, procedures, and controls are operating effectively on Regional level.
• Analyzes local IS regulations, update elements of the Corporate Rules Book with country specific requirements and reporting deviations to Group IS Function.
• Maintains Information Security Incident Response Plan. Coordinates major incident response activities as needed.
• Assures the preparation for external audits, regulatory exams and funds third-party vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Drives Region specific action plans to enable and maintain compliance with IS requirements, and information security.
• Collaborates with IT leadership, chief data privacy officers, and chief human resources officers to establish and maintain a system for ensuring that security and privacy policies are met

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• Experience in developing, implementing, and managing ISMS
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience)
• 7+ years of experience in an information security role
• 3+ years supervisory, management, or leadership experience
• Solid knowledge of various information security and related frameworks (e.g., ISO27001, NIST, ISO15504, ITIL v4, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with others
• Experience in project management, planning and coordination skills
• Experience in auditing information security of applications, systems, and processes
• Experience in risk management
• Ability to develop and interpret standards, policies, and procedures, and analyze systems and procedures, write and review standards and procedures
• Fluent English language skills (written/spoken)

For this position we offer a yearly gross salary of at least EUR 90.000 gross (full-time basis). Overpay is possible in case of and depending on appropriate experience, qualifications and commitment.
