DATA ENGINEER

• Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Apache Kafka and Python.
• Design scalable ETL pipelines for data ingestion and processing (BigQuery, modern data warehouse solutions).
• Collaborate with Data Analytics to integrate machine learning models.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure robust data governance (quality, security, compliance).
• Deploy and manage applications with Kubernetes (Google Kubernetes Engine) and Docker.

• Proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development.
• Experience with SQL for querying and managing data in warehouse environments.
• Familiar with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab).
• ~2 years of experience in data engineering or software development.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Basic understanding of machine learning workflows and tools (e.g. VertexAI).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud) and BigQuery.

• Transparent salary model (gross annual, full-time):
  - Junior: from € 40.000,00 gross per year
  - Advanced: from € 48.000,00 gross per year
