(Senior) Manager Strategic Pricing & Commercial Performance (m/f/d)

For this high-impact role, we are seeking a results-driven professional with a background in the chemicals, manufacturing, or consulting industry, who combines strategic vision with a hands-on approach to execution. You will leverage your expertise in performance management to drive meaningful business impact and lead transformative change.

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

• You will develop and implement value-based pricing and performance strategies and frameworks for the business units Textiles and Nonwovens
• You will conduct systematic analyses of price and mix optimization opportunities, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to commercial teams
• You will work closely with commercial leadership to optimize the pricing process
• You will leverage business intelligence platforms and pricing tools to enhance efficiency in systems and processes
• You will track the effectiveness of measures by monitoring key performance indicators and conducting performance review sessions with business units
• You will embed value-based pricing principles in the broader commercial organization

• You hold a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, along with several years of experience in pricing, commercial strategy, business consulting, or sales controlling
• You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities to identify and capture commercial opportunities
• You have advanced knowledge of pricing methodologies, performance management; with an exceptional ability to design and implement commercial performance strategies, frameworks and processes
• You are an outstanding communicator - spoken, written, and in presentations - with an ability to foster strong relationships with multiple cross-functional teams. You have very good English language skills; German would be an advantage
• You have a strong sense of ownership and a proactive, self-driven mindset; and you are keen to work on high-impact initiatives that drive business growth and profitability

The gross annual salary for this position according to the collective agreement in the chemical industry is EUR 85.400,- with the willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
