Lead Financial Analyst – Operations & Sourcing Reporting & Initiatives (m/f/d)

In this role you are a key member or the Operations and Sourcing finance team. You will bring together various areas of the teams’ responsibilities to ensure best-in-class reporting processes and work on specific and varied new initiatives. These activities significantly contribute to the success of the Operations & Sourcing Finance team and the wider business.

This role is filled in Jenbach in Tyrol, Austria.

Your Responsibilities:

• Working in collaboration with our data and reporting experts, you will maintain, develop and improve the existing BI reporting landscape owned by the Operations & Sourcing Finance team. These reports exist in Tableau based on an Azure data lake, which in turns pulls data primarily from our Oracle ERP, as well as various other sources. Ensure reliability, accuracy and timeliness of relevant reports.
• Proactively generate new reporting and automation ideas and manage these through to execution and implementation. Confidently push through challenges and independently drive solutions, especially in the case of uncertainties. Primarily focused on topics relating to the full scope of factory operations and sourcing, with the potential to expand into wider areas.
• As a senior and experienced member of the team, take responsibility to work with various team members on special initiatives. These initiatives can also involve cross-functional work with our Operations and Sourcing partners. Provide financial leadership, expertise and guidance to ensure optimal outcomes. Strategically assess such initiatives for BI enhancements.
• As needed take on new projects defined with the Head of Operations and Sourcing Finance, and/or the VP Group Controlling.
• Demonstrate a high level of financial expertise. Utilize this expertise as system approver for various financial workflows and transactions, such as periodic journal entries and account reconciliations.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration
• 10+ professional experience in finance and accounting roles in large organizations
• Well founded and substantial understanding of accounting concepts relevant to a manufacturing business
• Excellent digital skills, experienced with large sets of data and the move from manual Excel processes to automated BI solutions
• Extensive Oracle/other ERP experience
• Proven ability working cross-functionally and in fast-moving and uncertain situations
• Fluent English, German advantageous
• Flexible and delivers on deadlines

• Clear thinker, problem solving attitude
