Senior Solution Architect (m/f/x)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect for an exciting tech leadership role. Digital innovation meets real-world impact- as the digital unit of one of the biggest furniture retailers, my client develops software solutions, optimizing customer experience, digital marketing, focusing on customer needs and providing a seamless omni-channel experience. With locations in thirteen European countries, we are looking for someone preferably in the Vienna, Austria office (other locations such as Linz, Graz, Wels, Munich, Berlin Barcelona are also possible).

Senior Solution Architect (m/f/x)

Your mission

• You will be responsible for architecture support at a cross-family level and provide direct support for a product family when working with the solution architecture
• Helping the product lead and software developers by aligning their goals with architecture patterns, sharing best practices with the team, and explaining the benefits of using these patterns
• Develop solution architectures by abstracting business, information, and technology elements to address specific problems, ensuring these solutions align with business strategies and the overall enterprise architecture, and proposing a combination of building blocks for potential solutions. You will ensure that the design patterns within the product family are correctly applied and documented by your team

Your experience

• Significant professional experience (min. around 4 years) in a software architect or solution architect position
• Knowledge and experience with service orientated architecture (SOA), microservices and monolithic architectures as well as a combination of these architectures in a live and changing IT landscape
• Very good knowledge of software development
• Advanced knowledge of IT with a focus on strategic thinking and the ability to present and discuss architectural issues with various stakeholders
• Experience within a scaled agile environment
• Business-level English language (required) and conversational German language skills (nice to have)
