What you will enjoy doing
- You will play a key role in driving strategic growth: lead the identification and development of high-impact opportunities in the Metal Fabrication (MetFab) segment across Eastern and Central Europe, creating tailored solutions and aligning with Linde’s regional and global priorities
- Deliver Short- and Long-Term Value:Generate short- and mid-term (~6–18 months) revenue growth while building durable customer partnerships that position Linde as the preferred supplier for gas and technology solutions
- You will collaborate across customers and regions: work with multi-national enterprise customers to ensure consistent adoption of Linde’s solutions, address cross-regional complexities, and align goals across diverse customer functions including production, quality, procurement, and executive management
- Showcase Technology and Gas Integration:Demonstrate Linde’s value by leveraging applications such as welding gases and equipment, laser technologies, thermal solutions and Additive Manufacturing (AM) while securing both gas supply and adjacent opportunities
- Drive Operational and Business Results:Address key production challenges and drive measurable improvements in operational metrics like efficiency, safety, scalability, quality, and cost control to deliver tangible business impact
- Further, you will create innovative commercial strategies: use your commercial creativity to develop tailored approaches—such as phased agreements, interim partnerships, and trials—that strengthen customer relationships and secure sustainable future growth
What makes you great
- You own a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a technical/scientific discipline
- You have 5+ years of experience in strategic business development, key account management, or customer engagement, ideally in industries with complex customer dynamics such as Metal Fabrication OEMs, Producers of consumables for Metal Fabrication, Industrial Gases or Chemicals solutions tailored to the Metal Fabrication industry
- Market and Value Proposition Expertise: Strong understanding of the operational challenges and economic drivers of Eastern and Central European markets, with the ability to align solutions to customer needs. Demonstrated ability to articulate the operational benefits of industrial gases (e.g., productivity gains, cost optimization, and emission reduction) and tailor value propositions to functions like production, quality, and procurement within Metal Fabrication organizations
- Strategic and Creative Selling: You have demonstrated the ability to navigate challenging customer constraints, including existing contractual commitments. You skillfully propose interim or phased partnerships that position your solutions perfectly for future opportunities
- Further you have strong entrepreneurial spirit and resilience
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Europe, spending more than 50% of your time engaging directly with customers, visiting regional offices, and collaborating with key stakeholders on site
- Fluency in English is required; German proficiency is highly desirable; additional regional languages (e.g., Polish, Czech, Hungarian) are advantageous
