(Senior) Software Developer (m/f/d) What you want to do Software development: You will develop, optimize and maintain tailor-made software solutions for our systems as a metering point operator - with a special focus on Python and Java Spring Boot. Software architecture: You design and implement high-performance, scalable and maintainable software architectures that make our systems future-proof. Agile working: In an agile, cross-functional team, you will work closely with developers, product owners, system engineers, external service providers and other stakeholders to successfully implement innovative solutions. Backend services: You develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices that enable efficient processing and analysis of measurement data. Testing: You ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions by setting up and carrying out automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) Data processing: You work with large amounts of measurement and energy data and develop solutions for energy management and the optimization of smart meter processes. Machine learning: Using machine learning models, you will analyse consumption and generation data and optimize processes in metering point operation. Energy industry: You implement industry-specific requirements and regulatory specifications and ensure compliance with legal framework conditions. Your experience and knowledge Experience in software development: You have several years of experience in developing software solutions with Python and Java Spring Boot. Software architecture & scalability: You have in-depth knowledge of software architecture and the development of scalable, distributed systems and are adept at working with REST APIs and microservices. Asynchronous process automation: You have experience with event-driven communication and asynchronous processes, for example using technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or MQTT. Databases & cloud technologies: Confident handling of SQL and NoSQL databases as well as modern cloud technologies is part of your repertoire. Test automation: You are familiar with automated test procedures and have experience with tools such as Pytest, JUnit, Selenium or Postman. Language skills: You are fluent in written and spoken German and English. Team and communication skills: You enjoy working in an agile team, communicate in a clear and structured manner and have a solution-oriented way of working. Personal responsibility & innovative spirit: You like to take responsibility and actively drive new ideas and innovations. Data processing & analysis: Knowledge of processing and analyzing large amounts of data is a plus. Machine Learning: Basic knowledge in the development of machine learning algorithms and models (e.g. with TensorFlow, scikit-learn or PyTorch) is an advantage. Industry knowledge: Experience in the energy industry is a plus, but not a must.
