Institute for Medical and pharmaceutical examination questions - Institution with legal capacity under public law - In close cooperation with expert committees, the Institute for Medical and Pharmaceutical Examinations (IMPP) is responsible for the content of important parts of the nationwide state examinations in medicine, pharmacy and psychotherapy, and in the near future also dentistry. New examination formats are being tested. The range of mainly written state examinations has been expanded to include course examinations. Through its wide-ranging tasks, the IMPP, as the central institution for all federal states based in Mainz, makes a significant contribution to the quality assurance of training and the high-quality healthcare of our population. The Department of Examinations & Information Technology is looking for a System Administrator (m/f/d) for 2nd level IT infrastructure Your tasks: Conception, monitoring and further development of the IT infrastructure and updating the IT concept Planning, setting up, administering and optimizing servers, networks, virtualization and storage systems Implementing and operating IT security measures, including firewall and endpoint security Monitoring the IT infrastructure Planning, setting up and monitoring backup structures License management Your qualifications: Completed studies (Diploma [FH] / Bachelor) in the field of computer science or training as a computer science technician (m/f/d) or IT specialist (m/f/d) with several years of relevant professional experience Knowledge of planning, designing, setting up and operating complex IT infrastructures High degree of independence, initiative and motivation as well as good conceptual and organizational skills The following knowledge is desirable: Microsoft Windows Server (2016 & 2019) Microsoft Hyper-V Debian & Ubuntu Linux Databases: MS SQL 2019, PostgreSQL, MariaDB Cisco Layer 1-3 switches SAN / NAS, especially Huawei OceanStor and TrueNas Veeam Backup IT security, ideally WatchGuard firewalls / security products, MFA authentication What we offer you: A responsible, varied and interesting job in a committed interprofessional team with an interdisciplinary, interdisciplinary and interprofessional working and thinking structure Family-friendly, flexible and modern working hours and forms (e.g. alternating teleworking) High job security with an employer in the public sector Extensive, needs-oriented and individual training and further education opportunities An attractive pension scheme as part of the public sector A modern workplace in a central location in Mainz with good accessibility by public transport Discounted Germany ticket as a job ticket Possibility to use the DB Cargo restaurant The position can be filled on a full-time or part-time basis.
